Help provide the basic needs for our families all winter long. Include salad fixings, cucumbers, radish, potatoes, carrots, asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, Brussell sprouts, Kale, Herbs, Teas, Peppers, Tomatoes and whatever else we may have growing in the greenhouse at that time.

All Donations are used to help support the greenhouse so they can continue to provide completely organic produce to those who need it.

In 2019, we began the Boyne Valley Community Greenhouse (BVCG). The journey has been both challenging and deeply inspirational. Construction of our large greenhouse began during COVID, when help was very limited. We were incredibly blessed that our children supported this mission and helped with every stage of building. Every challenge we faced was overcome through the dedication of our family and the unwavering support of our community.

Each year, we’ve continued to grow — both in size and impact. Last year, we donated over 44,000 pounds of produce to individuals and families in need.

This year has brought some heartbreaking setbacks. We lost our home in a fire, have been battling a very difficult insurance process, and are mourning the loss of our beloved pets. Understandably, this has set us back from our original schedule.

However, we are regrouping and ready to get back on track. We continue working on our classroom so we can educate and empower more families in food preservation and sustainable living. We are also planting throughout the fall and plan to have a bountiful winter harvest.

While we may not meet the production goals we originally set for this year, our commitment remains strong: to help as many people as we can and to keep expanding our reach and goals in the year ahead.
